You may be eligible for reduced costs to participate in recreation and leisure programs In Vancouver, contact the Leisure Access Program: Call  311 for information & eligibility. Give yourself some time before the Fall – it takes about 2 wks. for processing & you will have to submit a copy of an Income Statement ‘Option C’ from Canada Revenue Agency. (Check w your local City or Municipality Pks & Recreation Ctrs if you live outside Vancouver.)
