How to procced
Setting up a bequest is easy to do when you make or revise your will, and because your contribution is deferred, you don’t have to worry about any impact on your current financial situation. As an added benefit, a gift in your will creates future tax relief for other beneficiaries of your estate.
You will need our legal name and charitable registration number:

Your bequest can be a specific sum of money, a portion of your estate, or a particular asset.
Bequest language
We encourage individuals to consult a professional advisor when preparing a bequest for 411 Seniors Centre Society. The sample language below is provided as a help for you and/or your advisor.
Bequest for general purposes
“I give (specific amount or percentage) to 411 Seniors Centre Society located at 3502 Fraser Street in Vancouver, BC to support its general charitable purposes.”
Bequest for a specific purpose
“I give (specific amount, percentage, or residue) to 411 Seniors Centre Society located at 3502 Fraser Street in Vancouver, BC to be used for (provide description of what you want the bequest to accomplish).”
When making a bequest for a specific program, we recommend you include the following wording in case the program is no longer in existence at the time the bequest is realized.
“If through the passage of time, the 411 Seniors Centre program to which I have directed my bequest is no longer in place, I give my permission to alter the terms of my Will to adhere as closely possible to my original wishes; or in the event that this is not possible, please direct my gift to the area of greatest need.”
