411 informed and connected

We’d like to introduce you all to 411’s new website – www.411seniors.org. Emerging out of the last couple years of COVID-19 and the two office relocations, 411 is now riding a wave of renewed initiatives anticipating our ultimate move to the new Fraser location late 2022. Part of this regenerating spirit is represented in our new communications outreach with a new logo, tag line, newsletter, e-newsletter, flyers and website.

We hope you take some time to explore the new website pages. Guided by our new motto “informed and connected”, 411 staff and volunteers are committed to posting regular news items featuring themes such as: new legislation, editorials/opinions, “good news” stories, member profiles, games, recipes, and more. We welcome article ideas from our 411 community. Please think of using the “submit news” link to send your own article or write a “letter to the editor”.

Showcased on our home page is a quick reference calendar of events that will list 411 workshops, 411 podcast episodes, committee meetings, community events, and many other opportunities for members to join and stay connected to 411 activities. We want to encourage you to visit the calendar on a regular basis to stay connected! The website also provides key contact information for 411 and community resources.

If you are not already a member, there is a place for you to sign up on-line. If you wish to directly support 411 programming, there is a place to fill out a volunteer form. If you have the resources to support our work financially, you can contribute a one-time donation or help provide consistent support over time by signing up for a monthly donation. You can also sign up to become a member, volunteer or donate in person by visiting us at our temporary location at Glad Tidings Church – 3456 Fraser Street, Vancouver.

Our newsletter reaches those who aren’t online as well and provides key information found on our website, including 411 programs and resources, upcoming events, articles, and how to get involved in person.

We want you to be a regular participating member of our community! Please sign up on this page or email info@411seniors.org to receive regular monthly messages from 411 to stay on top of issues of interest to you!
