The Sleepwell Team from Dalhousie University, Halifax will be hosting a free, national, online event on November 27th at 6:30 PM (Eastern Time) (3:30 PM (Pacific Time). This event will be presented by Dr. David Gardner, a Professor at Dalhousie University’s Department of Psychiatry and Executive Member of the Canadian Medication Appropriateness and Deprescribing Network. Dr. Gardner will be talking about sleep, sleeping pills, their safer and more effective alternative, as well as Sleepwell’s recommended resources & tools to help you have a good night’s sleep without sleeping pills!

Whether you have had insomnia for years or have been experiencing sleeplessness every now and again, the sleep enhancing techniques and resources that you will learn about can be used right away to help you get a better sleep.

Health professionals, too, are invited to attend and share this event with their patient community! It’s a great opportunity to learn about safe and accessible strategies for treating insomnia.
