“The provincial government has significantly increased funding in many seniors services, but this has been offset by rising costs and increasing demand from a growing seniors population,” stated BC Seniors Advocate Isobel Mackenzie. “The result is reductions in the rate services like home support and increases in wait times for others such as long-term care.”
